The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest covers more than
1.5 million acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods.
Three Lakes/Brule River Trails: The Three Lakes/Brule River Trail system has over
200 miles of groomed trails in the Nicolet National Forest, linking northern Forest
County to Florence, Vilas, and Oneida Counties, as well as upper Michigan trails.
Oneida County is one of the top snowmobiling destinations in North America. A trail
system consisting of almost a thousand miles of top-notch trails runs throughout the
county and connects with thousands more miles of trails stretching across northern
Wisconsin and into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
